Lake Aniwhenua and the surrounding rivers and streams are world famous for wild trout fishing. An area so diverse, there’s never any crowding for fishing spots. Some rivers can be fished with not another angler in sight all day.

Deer & wild pigs inhabit the nearby forests. Hunting is available 365 days of the year.
